In collaboration with the Pesticide Safety Education Program, training workshops and seminars are generally provided to over 400 individuals participating in county-organized pesticide training classes throughout the state each year. Publications on pesticides and human health for the most hand labor-intensive crops in North Carolina are available in Spanish and English to provide health and safety information to migrant and seasonal workers, growers, agricultural agents, and health care providers.
